Skippy: Faster alternatives available?

Hi there,

I've been using Skippy for a while now, and I like it ... but it's a tad slow. Are there faster alternatives to what Skippy does for GNOME 2.8? The Expocity patch doesn't seem to work with recent metacity versions ...

Re: Skippy: Faster alternatives available?

the skippy for the composite extension works well for me... it doesn't have to do as much, so it's a bit faster...

other than that:
for KDE: http://kompose.berlios.de/
the newest expocity: http://www.pycage.de/software_expocity.html

I think there's more but cannot recall names, and google give me nothing...

Re: Skippy: Faster alternatives available?

Funny enough, Skippy-XD runs a lot slower for me than the "normal" Skippy. Could you post your -rc file, please? Perhaps I'm using a wacko option ...
