Problem with intel 945

well, my problem is that execute glxgears the fps not exceed the 600.
Several days ago I installed aur driver xf86-video-intel-stable and exceeded the 1200 fps (everything perfect (y) good grafic acelerator etc... ,but I had to reinstall arch and now with the same driver (stable) does not exceed 600 :S and the grafic acelerator work bad (very bad, horrible(zsnes, psx xd) the others drivers not working well.

Hmm... Maybe reconfiguring the xorg.conf file might be necessary with the "stable" driver installed? Try Xorg -configure again without X running.

Did you backup your xorg.conf to restore it now ?
