Nautilus and Totem Taking Forever to Load

For some reason, lately it takes forever for Nautilus to load as well as Totem.  One of my friends who was using Arch for a while also noticed it.  I don't know if there was some type of package upgrade that is slowing it down or what.  Anyone else experiencing this or now how to fix it?

Re: Nautilus and Totem Taking Forever to Load

I hate to give an "It works fine for me" reply, but I don't have any problems, even on a pretty slow computer. Nautilus and Totem were originally pretty snappy and have gotten slower recently, or over time? Do you remember any packages you installed recently that may have affected it?

Re: Nautilus and Totem Taking Forever to Load

They were extremely snappy, but recently they take a while to load, along with the desktop and it's icons.  I wonder if its some type of bug where over time, it slows down.  The beta of gnome 2.4 is out, so its only a matter of time before that is released, which probably would have a lot of these bugs fixed and such.  I just timed it, it takes 3 minutes and 41 seconds to load nautilus on an Athlon XP 2100+
