The title is pretty much the issue.
I have installed the package community/pywebkitgtk 1.1.6-2 but still the same error... Anyone knows what do i have to install or/and how?
Plugin's info says:
Depends: libwebkit >= 1.0.1, python-webkit >= 1.1.2

i think it's a bug in pywebkitgtk package. i emailed the maintainer because bugs.archlinux.org is still down.
Edit:
it's not a bug in the package but a bug upstream with configure. (Why do they use configure when we have distutils !??? OMG)
so i reported this to http://code.google.com/p/pywebkitgtk/is … tail?id=38

Ok, I don't know what you are talking about (too technical for me), but thank you very much for that. I'll wait for it to be fixed.

Downgrading pywebkitgtk to 1.1.4 worked for me.
Tell me if anyone needs the 64bit-package...

I did the down grade to 1.1.4 on my x86_64 box, but now I receive another error when attempting to enable the contextual plugin:
Could not enable plugin: No module named image
Anyone?
EDIT: Found the answer, apperantly the image package is pil:
$ pacman -Ss python imaging
extra/pil 1.1.6-6
Python imaging library

I was having the same problem with the latest version of Exaile (0.3.0.1-2) and found a solution. Just open a terminal and type the following command:
ln -s /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/webkit-1.0/webkit.so /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/gtk-2.0/webkit.so
I don know if this is gonna work for everyone, but worked as a charm for me. I found this solution in a post from AUR: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=18820

Young.
