I installed flash not to long ago and to my dismay some movies that I watch are really choppy or have speed problems, along with some fast paced flash games, any way I can fix this?

Is your system 64bit and using the 64bit flash? Flash for 64bit can do this. Some 64bit users choose to install 32bit flash on their 64bit systems with the help of nspluginwrapper:

Well yea I'm running a 64bit system, the shockwave version I have installed is 10.0 r32 ..I'm not sure if its the 64bit version, I simply did pacman -S flashplugin, I'm assuming it is the 64bit version.

Yeah, it is. Btw its just flash, there's no shockwave for linux. Doing the nspluginwrapper sounds like a big deal but it really isn't. Made a pretty good difference on my computer.

Check if the problem is just with Firefox or not.
There is a bug in FF 3.5.x that makes for stuttery Flash (and everything else, but mostly Flash).

Well so far I tried out the following cpu scalling command:
echo "35" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold
echo "35" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold
So far everything seems to be smoothed out.

Eh!??? As far as I know this shouldn't need to be done. What did you have your original settings at?

Hi,
I thought speed problems is caused by a bad ISP provider? Anyhow, hope your problem will be solved.

Hi everyone,
I have managed to solve this issue. I have Intel 915GM graphics. I posted a reply on this thread:
