I'm trying to install svn to compile blender 2.5 but i get this:

first update your system with pacman -Syu and then install subversion
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Were you successful in compiling Blender 2.5.
do you mind sharing your steps, or link to tutorial you followed?
I am looking at one

in that tutorial they said something about installing sound specific libraries.
I dont want to break my installation, so I'd lik to find out if there are any other arch specific things you had to do.
