Can't install svn [SOLVED]

I'm trying to install svn to compile blender 2.5 but i get this:

warning: provider package was selected (subversion provides svn)
resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
:: util-linux-ng conflicts with e2fsprogs. Remove e2fsprogs? [Y/n]

if i choose no:

error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)
:: util-linux-ng: conflicts with e2fsprogs

If I choose yes:

error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: cryptsetup: requires e2fsprogs
:: heimdal: requires e2fsprogs
:: hwdetect: requires e2fsprogs
:: jfsutils: requires e2fsprogs
:: libsm: requires e2fsprogs
:: nfs-utils: requires e2fsprogs
:: ntfsprogs: requires e2fsprogs
:: reiserfsprogs: requires e2fsprogs
:: xfsprogs: requires e2fsprogs

first update your system with pacman -Syu and then install subversion

Alberto,
Were you successful in compiling Blender 2.5.
do you mind sharing your steps, or link to tutorial you followed?
I am looking at one

in that tutorial they said something about installing sound specific libraries.
I dont want to break my installation, so I'd lik to find out if there are any other arch specific things you had to do.
