epdfview severe memory leak issue

Today I open one of my pdf file with epdfview,
and I find out that when I set the zoom preference to "zoom to width" and resize the epdfview window,
it eats shit load of my memory and does not free it after resizing,
I keep resizing it and it turns out to eat all of my free memory, which is 2GB,
this is just incredible, one pdf viewer eating 2GB of my memory!!
I tried lots of my pdf files and they all suffer the same issue,
so I guess this issue is not caused by wicked pdf files,
can anyone please confirm this issue?

I can confirm this. epdfview also doesn't free up memory after you open a new document.

Good ideas do not need lots of lies told about them in order to gain public acceptance.

Re: epdfview severe memory leak issue

For those who tried to find an ideal PDF viewer and failed,
I find out that Okular is a very good option,
yeah, I know it's fat,
but it's the most usable and stable(at least it doesn't eat shitload of memory) open-source PDF view I've ever used,
I have tried evince too, and it's has the same memory leak issue, just like epdfview.
