Hi Archers,
several hours ago we turned on maintenance mode for the forum because we switched to FluxBB.
We was using PunBB 1.2.17 before.
Please contact us if you see something who is not working anymore or some problem after this upgrade.
Thanks

Yeah, haven't seen any problems yet either. Not being experienced in BB programming, why was the choice made to move to FluxBB?

Due to this notice in PunBB development. In short, some key developers has left and made a fork named FluxBB. The FluxBB community is already big and better then PunBB; soon they will release FluxBB 1.4.

I believe so, since I did see the conky scripts there before. Could be wrong though.
No noticeable difference on my part.

Very nice indeed. Great work.

Yes. They just did not used to have "Sticky" in front of them so you never noticed.

Woo!

Didn't know that PunBB became commercial, huh. Glad the developers got together then and created FluxBB. Thanks for keeping on top of this and keeping the forum up to date.

luckily topic is old (Yesterday 09:42:56) so is not my fault
anyway, you can't unsubscribe that topic or subscription doesn't work? or both?

Unsubscribe appears to work; yesterday Unsubscribe had it that I 'wasn't subscribed to that topic' !
Subscribe, appears to work.
Change of email address still fails.
No notifications received of subscribed topics.

I can force change of email address and see if it helps. Send me a e-mail with what you want it changed to.

Check your spam folder, there's a rumour going around that bbs messages are mysteriously being marked as spam now.

X-Spam-Status: No, score=1.3 required=5.0 tests=AWL,RDNS_DYNAMIC,
SPF_HELO_NEUTRAL autolearn=no version=3.2.5
Looks like some spam dynamic RDNS right away.
It might also be a problem that the mail comes from an NXDOMAIN:
postfix/cleanup: 7763E13802A: message-id=<20090905194638.170C57003E@web.archlinux.org>
postfix/qmgr: 7763E13802A: from=<bbs@web.archlinux.org>, size=1717, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
If you run postfix on that machine (gudrun I think) you could try changing $myorigin to "archlinux.org".

the spf record for the base domain isn't quite right (or optimal) anymore either.
