not work brightness

Hello community, I have a laptop Compaq F756la, have problems with brightness of the screen, worked fine, but one day he simply stopped working. I tried to change the brightness by shell, but still no response. Not recognize me when brightness by software or hardware.

I tried to reinstall the kernel and update the system and nothing

Any ideas?

If u have an intel graphics card add acpi_brightness=vendor to your kernel line in /boot/grub/menu.lst
This bug is supposed to be fixed in 2.6.31-rc8-git2 so in two weeks when I expect 2.6.31-ARCH to be in repos this issue should be resolved
