Evolution addressbook problem

When I go to my addressbook in Evolution, it says it cannot open it. This also happens with the gnome-about-me in system preferences (guess they use the same file)

The file addressbook.db is in /home/rex/.evolution/addressbook/local/system with -rw-rw-r-- rights. Owner and group is my user's.

How can I solve this issue?

Re: Evolution addressbook problem

Hi!

I've been messing around the addressbook.db by making a new addressbook and copying the resulting addressbook.db over the original one. So it's working now.

My guess is that it happened because upon using evolution for the first time I imported my mail from a backup archive in the third screen of the setup. Maybe this way the addressbook is not made correctly. But that's just a guess.

Unfortunatly i cannot recreate the situation this moment ;(

Upon next install I will resume this topic. Thanks for your reaction.
