Free Arch Linux Case badge

Hey all,

I just wanted to announce a small promotion I have going in the http://schwag.archlinux.ca/ Arch Linux Schwag Shop -- we're officially sold out of case badges, but we have a few in stock (I wanted to avoid over-selling our inventory) so I'm giving them away with the next USB key purchases. I think we have over 20 keys and under 15 badges left, but We'll ship a badge with each key purchased until we run out of badges.

So if you were thinking of getting a key and wished you hadn't missed out on the badges, here's your chance.

For those that want to purchase badges without keys attached, I'll probably be restocking sometime in the spring.

Re: Free Arch Linux Case badge

I was actually still hoping to get a couple of USB keys, with or without the case badges attached (case badges would be nice too)

If there's a restocking opportunity, please include more archlinux usb keys!

I'll buy as many as 4 I guess. I would happily pay in advance if that helps anything.

Thank you so much for the indy schwag shop!

It's very comforting to have an actual arch person distributing schwag instead of having to purchase from soul-less corporate schwag mongers 8-)

Re: Free Arch Linux Case badge

Its unlikely I'll be buying any more usb keys in the near future, they were too hard to get rid of and I ended up taking a small loss on the last of them. If I can find a print on demand supplier, I would change my mind, but for things that we need to get printed in large blocks and keep in stock, I can only afford to do it with cheap stuff like the case badges. I may do a few runs of other small things; Crouse's pens went quickly though, so I'm thinking notepads, pens, keychains, stuff like that might be doable.

Re: Free Arch Linux Case badge

Have anyone bought the arch laptop bags ( or any other bags), is the material good? Mine just broke so I need to buy another one pretty soon. Is there an official e-mail to ask questions about shipping ?

Re: Free Arch Linux Case badge

I think I've sold about 8 bags or so, but four are being shipped right now so the users haven't received them yet. The material on my bag is better than I expected:

Crouse also likes his bag:

Dusty, hi

I send my regards for your work as merchant.

I noticed the avatar wields a weapon.  Are there any weapons to sale, I want a bow.  Coniciendentally, I think I bow is appropriate for archers archlinux.

I noticed you're in Canada, Saskatchewan.  I'll yell over to you, you may hear me.

Re: Free Arch Linux Case badge

This is an old thread... 'next spring' actually meant 'last spring.'  The badges are currently sold out, but I'll be shipping again shortly after New Years.

Duh!  roll  I guess I should probably look at the dates before commenting wink.
Still good to know.  I'm dying to get some Arch badges to proudly display on my machines wink.

Thanks,
Jamie
