Wow, thanks very much! Now Opera fits totally into my system!
(it's ...Preferences > Advanced > Fonts... just if anyone else will be looking although I'm sure everyone can work that out.)

Now seriously the only thing that I can name that is better in Firefox is when you search, it searches when you type but in Opera it does the IE6 style. Oh, and maybe Firefox is open-source or whatever you call its licence.

In-line search can be accessed via the "/" key.

Been waiting quite some time for an Opera 64bit build for Qt4. Fits so nicely into KDE now. Just made the switch from Firefox and not regretting it so far! Overcame my extreme prejudice against the proprietary. Pretty neat compile time aswell (i.e. zero), especially when compared to a firefox PGO build...

I will miss NoScript though, but to be fair I think I've always been a bit overly paranoid.

You can add a "Enable/Disable JavaScript" button to one of the toolbars. It's also accessible via the "Quick prefences" menu (it has a keybinding, F12, I think, but I'm not sure as I use a customized vimperator-like keyboard config).

There's also a nice flashblocker around (google: opera flashblock), and some nice url.ini filters which can pretty much rival adblock's filters.

Indeed, I am also impressed with Opera 10.  I am using flashblock javascript to block all flash (exactly like flashblock in firefox).  Opera is much more customizable than Firefox in many, many ways, though there are few extensions comparatively, not that 99% of firefox's extensions were useful anyway...

+1 for speed dial
+1 for bookmark syncing using Opera's own servers
+1 for the possibility of using Turbo just in case my internet decides to be slow

As yasen wrote you can add some buttons to toolbars. Open "Tools > Appearance > Buttons > Preferences" and drag and drop "Enable Javascript" to any toolbar. Look at my screenshot: http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/214/shotu.png
