I wonder if all the people requesting an account just wanted to contribute to the experiment, or if they really needed a remote access to a arch box (but the latter would be surprising, as it's dead easy to set up ssh server on your own box)

The hard part is keeping everything running well and secure. ;-)

I'm helping out as a system administrator for a friend's small hosting firm and I've learned a lot doing so. (Although I'm running Debian and a lot of interesting requests for custom applications and services increase the learning factor for me.)

I'm waiting for my mail and then I'll see how usable it is (home internet connections are usually slow) and help you in your quest to learn more.

I manage quite a bunch of servers (Debian/Gentoo/Arch) myself and would definetely be willing to serve as guinea pig and tester for your endeavors

Ok...interesting, I don't get mails sent from this forum(tried to send one from my acc) I will just send you an email with my email-address, if you won't mind?
I even tried changing the profile settings regarding emails...very strange.
