icons under compiz/emerald

Hey there,

I just moved from Ubuntu to Arch and I'm liking it so far. However, I installed and (with some trial and error) set up compiz and emerald to suit my tastes, except now I can't seem to change the icons from the gnome default ones, which by the look of them have not been changed since 1992. I've tried changing the default set under the Appearences menu a dozen times, but still all I get is just the dull grey default icons.

Anyone out there know what I ought to be doing to change the icon theme under the compiz WM?

Re: icons under compiz/emerald

I like to use lxappearance.

Or you can manually edit ~/.gtkrc-2.0
