simple wine patch question [solved]

I'm trying to patch wine to run fallout 3 on a 64 bit system (patch =  http://bugs2.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=20312) I've downloaded the 1.1.27 source, but I can't figure out how to get the patch downloaded. Firefox opens it as text and wget creates an empty file. Is there a preexisting file I should copy paste into or something?

For the rest of the process I think I'm covered based on the wiki chroot article, and some forum posts.

Re: simple wine patch question [solved]

I think you can simply copy and paste firefox output to a text file, then applay the patch (patch -p1 < yournewcopypastefile). smile

Re: simple wine patch question [solved]

In Firefox, hit ctrl + s. It'll save the file as `patch-benv.diff'. tongue
