[SOLVED] Amarok VS MySQL: MySQL as database

Hey guys!

I'm trying to configure Amarok to use a MySQL database but its not working. The MySQL server is installed and working properly, but the Amarok's Collection options hasn't the "Collection Database" section. So, I can't set Amarok to use MySQL as a database for my collection.

Some idea?

Thanks in advance!

I can see the code, and change it too
I can make it do things I want it to do
And I think to myself, what a wonderful code

It didn't work for me though. Do you now if the "Colection Database" section was removed from Amarok in the new versions? I see a lot of information in the web about this section, but the tutorials were made for Amarok 1.4 and earlier.

Thanks in advance!

You will have to wait for Amarok2.2 (which will be released soon), or us amarok-git from AUR, which is pretty stable.

I'll try amarok-git from AUR until version 2.2 pops out. Thanks Karoshi.
