Asus X5DIJ sound problem

Hi everybody!

I will appreciate any help with fixing of sound problem on Asus X5DIJ. The sound card is detected, but there is no sound.
The one solution was found by Ubuntu users: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1199793. It works, but looks ugly.
Any better idea?

P.S. I use Archlinux x84_64 on the laptop.
