[FIXED] After kernel 2.6.31, cpufreq only goes up to 1.33GHz

Hello,

I upgraded to kernel 2.6.31, now cpufreq only goes to 1.33GHz, when it used to go to 1.83GHz (that is the maxium speed of my CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo T5550).

When I try to set the frequency to 1.83GHz nothing happens!

 (42)  alliance:~ >> sudo cpufreq-set -f 18000000 ; grep MHz /proc/cpuinfo 
cpu MHz         : 1333.000

There are no error messages on dmesg or on the system logs.

Any ideas?

EDIT: This was the problem which just fixed by itself... Bizarre.
