Dear all,
After upgrading to 2.6.31 from testing, I am finding that the virtual consoles are now in /dev/vc/*, and not in /dev/tty*. This breaks initscripts and suspend to disk.
According to a news post a while back (http://www.archlinux.org/news/454/) the change from /dev/vc/* -> /dev/tty* was made in order to comply with kernel documentation, so I am assuming this reversion is unintentional.
Anybody else having this problem?

Right, I worked it out. There were some files in /etc/udev/rules.d that no longer belonged to any package. After moving these files to a different directory, console device names were back at /dev/tty*.
