'add on' video cards

Not really sure whether this is the correct sub-forum but here I go.

I've got an integrated G31 Intel video card and I'm very happy with it, the only one thing that bugs me is that the motherboard only has analogue video output.
I found those 'add on' card like this one: http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=988225 and my questions are:

1. Is it supported by Linux? If so, how well? Does it make a difference which one I buy or are they all supported the same?
2. Will I still be able to use KMS the same way I do it now? (the wiki 'early' start way)
3. Will it support all the resolutions my G31 is supporting? Will the performance be the same?

Thanks in advance.

[edit] fixed, thanks
