[SOLVED] SDL & Pulseaudio

I finally decided to switch over to pulseaudio on my 32 bit Arch machine and I want to set SDL up with pulse. The wiki says

Since SDL version 1.2.12, SDL has native pulseaudio support. Add this to your .profile or similar:

export SDL_AUDIODRIVER="pulse"

I don't have .profile so my question is where is the best place to put it?

Regards

André

PS: Do they mean ~/.profile in my home directory?

Re: [SOLVED] SDL & Pulseaudio

Yes they mean that. If you don't have one you can create it.

For a system wide approach you can also add a script to the /etc/profile.d/ folder. (See the scripts already in there for examples).
