Abs has no core items(solved with /etc/abs.conf)
Downloads from community, extra, and testing but no core data.

check your /etc/abs.conf. The core and extra items are generated at the same time, so it is quite difficult to have one without the other.

Examined /etc/abs.conf and found that core had a ! inserted.
