Calcurse - weird problem: Can't use ^H

I have just installed calcurse to give it a try, and I have the weirdest problem: I cannot use CTRL + H (^H) to move around the calendar. When I tab to the calendar, i can move around just fine with hjkl, but using this in combination with CTRL just won't work with the H key (keys jkl work fine though).

Do you have any ideas concerning this? It's really rather strange.

EDIT: Somebody from #archlinux confirmed my problem. Maybe an update would do it? I have notified the maintainer that there is a new version.

So calcurse what recently updated, but the problem persists. Can anybody else confirm this? Or maybe this works for somebody?

It doesn't work here either, using calcurse 2.7-1.
Did you ever try to reassign the generic-prev-day key in the .calcurse/keys file?

To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.
