Audio/Text Instant Messaging communicator.

Hello today I buyed new Headphones with microphone.
I want to talk with friend's by him (microphone) and I need free communicator (I don't want to play for talking).
Is there any communicator in GTK+ taht can do all thing's and it's lighweight?
I was thinking about Pidgin but it needs python and gstreamer sad
And Communicator must be compatible with this on Windows (Friend's use it) and it must can use Gadu-Gadu protocol.
Thanks for advice.

Re: Audio/Text Instant Messaging communicator.

The ones that I would recommend are Tlen and Skype, both of them have Wndows and Linux support and Tlen supports Gadu-Gadu BUT none of them is in GTK+ unfortunately.

Empathy has XMPP support if I'm not mistaken. And you can always use SIP over Ekiga, I think the sound quality would be better.

Yes it's available for windows http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Windows_Users
If you need a teamspeak-like app you can also use mumble.
