FTP problem

I'm using kbear to try to connect to a ftp site. I have entered all the correct fields but it won't connect. I have also tried lftp, same result.   sad

Re: FTP problem

might be a firewall problem. ftp is a horrible protocol.. ick..

Anyway, you might try passive or active ftp (whichever one you are not using).
Are you running an iptables firewall? There are some special modules you can load to make ftp'ing much easier..I can only remember one of them, but it is the important one for the client side...
add "ip_conntrack_ftp" to your modules list in rc.conf if you are using iptables.
