Japanese, RTF, ANSI = Doesn't Work?

Hey there,

I just recently switched to (Arch) Linux [XFCE]. With me from my Windoze partition I brought some RTF files in which I had various coloured Japanese text. Now it won't display. I already enabled Japanese in locales and I got anthy + uim up running, too. So Japanese works just fine, but only in these files it won't. Somebody told me the culprit might be ANSI? Here is an extract of what I get when I open them:

{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0\deflang1031{\fonttbl{\f0\froman\fprq1\fcharset128 EPSON \'91\'be\'96\'be\

I already installed the (Japanese) fonts with which I saved this file under my old partition.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
