Haiku R1 Alpha 1. I am so glad that Haiku has finally released alpha status, as BeOS was my main operating system until I upgraded to hardware that it didn't support.
Very nice looking...hmm I would like to try it out, but first in Virtualbox...is that possible ?

It changed when i changed my icon theme. I guess a lot of icon themes don't include the speaker icons.

Yeah, i thought i'd changed the default, and erased all trace of the original but still it shows up. Obv I'm missing something. So what icon set is that then?

It's called Ikon2, made by somebody at ubuntuforums. I'd upload it but it's quite big, so it'd probably be faster just doing a search over there. Which files were you deleting? In your .kde folder or /usr/share/icons?

Made it more pink.
Really neat wallpaper, would you mind sharing? Also could you share your mc themes? It would be much appreciated.

I've have run it in VMWare Player but not in Virtualbox. But I would like to note that my screenshot comes from my system when booted up with a live CD (the boot CD gives you the option of installing or booting live).
Be forewarned: wireless networking doesn't work yet.

Yes, it works (VirtualBox 3.0.6 and Windows XP host, in my case). You'll probably have to use the Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (NAT) network adapter option (I think I read about this somewhere, and it does work).

Yeah, they're referring to the thing in the top left of your clean desktop shot that displays thumbnails of all your virtual desktops (to be as precise as possible).
