rtl8187 issues

Hello,

I am back to using Arch again to build myself a nice little system, but I'm currently having major issues getting my wlan working. Running the latest CORE install with 2.6.30, my wireless card is detected out of the box and the rtl8187 and supporting modules are loaded. When I bring up the interface I get both wlan0 and the wlan_master, and when I iwlist scan for networks I get an accurate list of networks around me.

The problem is I cannot associate with any networks. I've tried two different full signal strength networks, running WEP and the other completely Open. Configuring them manually or via netcfg, I cannot associate with either network. Please advise!

Re: rtl8187 issues

Did you have crda package installed?
If not install it.

pacman -S crda

And see if works.
I have same wireless cipset and work without problems.
