Personally, I've gotten totally sick of them.
I got barated for suggesting that rolling release distros are a good way to entice people away from mainstream OSs. You basically get biting insults any time Arch comes up. Hell, I get insulted without even mentioning Arch. So much for intelligent discussion and debate.
What's worse is that the mods are in on the hate too!
Is anyone else pissed off over what is going on over there?

I lurk around there; don't really post so much. The automatic retaliation against any mention of Arch is a little irritating—but consider how often Arch gets suggested as a solution to problems x, y, and z, when all the user wanted to do was something relatively simple. I think I'd be a bit irritated if a group of people on here were suggesting Slackware (for example) as a solution to problems frequently.

One thing I do like is you can hover your mouse of the post and it gives you a preview without having to acutally opening the post.

I used Ubuntu a lot before my switch to Arch...I spent a lot of time on those forums. I like the distro a lot too, and their community is great from a "problem fixing" point of view..like it or not...you often get a working answer to your problems in under 10 minutes...that's like having a little IT support line at your finger tips.Their GUI setup threads aren't bad also..apart from that...they're starting to turn into elitist bastards, but the reason for that might be what Barrucadu said...a lot of people suggest Arch on there, and it can get quite frustrating

No offense here, but posting complaints about the Ubuntu forums here at Arch is pretty pointless. I'd take my complaints to them or stop going there if I were you.

I'd like to add the note that a lot of Arch 'users' seem to have taken an interest in trolling Ubuntu forums and channels. Needless to say this has not gone without reaction from that community.
I'm sure we all like to rant sometimes - a cheap rant comes easily - but I deeply pity people who think trolling 'inferior' distributions can be a hobby, while they barely master the skills themselves to run a Linux distribution at all. A little introspection might be needed.
