Just got the news from Linux Games. Heard about Shadowgrounds Survivor before and apparently Linux Game Publishing has gotten Shadowgrounds ported too.

This game looks like fun and the flash demo reminds me of a diablo type game. LGP has made a demo available for both of them. Good to have an active Linux game developer around. Has anyone gotten around to trying these yet?

Cant get it to work on 64bit Arch.
I got this error "error while loading shared libraries: libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64"
I then installed the 32bit lib from archlinux-fr but i still get the same error

It works fine on my 64bit. Haven't found the graphics settings yet though. But, it looks good anyway.

I'm trying the demo but haven't gotten it to run yet on 64bit yet either. The readme doesn't directly list dependencies but does mention sdl, openal. Through trial and error I discovered it needs at least these dependencies:
lib32-sdl
lib32-openal
lib32-gtk2
lib32-libxdamage
lib32-mesa
Able to get to the setting dialog before the game. When I click on 'Play Survivor' screen goes black and begins to run but then aborts with:
survivor-bin: /opt/survivor-demo/lib/libuuid.so.1: no version information available (required by /opt/lib32/usr/lib/libSM.so.6)
Got signal 11 at (nil) from (nil)
Above it is the warning you got raven3x7:
(survivor:5157): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: Error loading XPM image loader: Unable to load image-loading module: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-xpm.so: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-xpm.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
Not sure if this is the problem though. This library belongs to gtk2 and the setup dialog is able to run without (that's when the errors spit out). Got a new install so possibly there are more dependencies than above.

Well, I did manage to get this to work on x86_64. I've installed a couple of 32bit games since and now it works. Can't tell the exact dependencies but I install Quake Wars and World of Goo and these are the deps it installs:
lib32-glibc lib32-mesa lib32-libmikmod lib32-libogg lib32-libvorbis lib32-sdl_mixer lib32-sdl lib32-libx11
lib32-alsa-lib lib32-libgl lib32-sdl lib32-gcc-libs lib32-zlib lib32-libjpeg
And for my nvidia driver:
lib32-nvidia-utils
Add the ones above and it should work now. Haven't really got a chance to give it a run yet, but it looks pretty cool.

Well... I figured out the dependencies I needed to get this running on x86_64. Decided to go ahead and make the pkgbuilds. Can't afford the game yet but put the demo's on AUR:

I got this installed in a 32bit chroot now, but i'm not getting any sound. I tries to test sound with mpg123 and get the following error
[id3.c:345] error: No comment text / valid description?
[format.c:236] error: Unable to set up output format! Constraints: 44100, 22050 or 11025Hz.
[mpg123.c:614] error: ...in decoding next frame: Unable to set up output format! (code 1)
I guess sound might not be working, but i'm not sure why
BTW it's impossible to get this working with Catalyst in a 64bit env unless you build your own 32bit libs because there is no package providing them
