cd/dvd device icon missing or something

I have gnome-volume-manager running and it works great. the only thing that annoys me is that the icon for my dvd/cd drive is the standard icon (document with a gnome foot on). anyone know how to fix this?

Have you tried rightclicking on it and change it's properties? Or make a new link on the desktop to the CD-Rom and change its icon while making the link.

On my desk I have a workstation.

Re: cd/dvd device icon missing or something

yes, the icon for the link that is created on the desktop is changeable, but the one that is in computer:/// changes into a document icon with a desktop symbol. not a show stopper, but a bit annoying :-)

it would be nice if it could change the icon for different kinds of discs: audio, dvd and cd-rom etc. I have seen this in action on a fedora box.
