qt 4.6 using yaourt?

Hi,

I would like to install qt 4.6 (to test a feature in arora which only works with qt 4.6).
There is qt-git in AUR, but it does not work.
I fear that my package manager gets confused, when I install it by hand.
What would you recommend?

Thanks!
Nathan

Re: qt 4.6 using yaourt?

What should confuse him?

Your system maybe gets confused, but not your packagemanager wink

No package is compiled against qt 4.6 in arch at the moment, so the worst that can happen to you is that you have to recompile nearly all packages that use qt on your system... Think of it big_smile

If there is provides=qt line in the PKGBUILD pacman should be confirmed with it

Have fun
