arc-status (rc-status for Arch)

This might not be of much use, but I've always been jealous of my friends ability to see his running daemons all sexy-like with rc-status, so I made a tiny version for Arch called arc-status. It's written in Ruby as I don't know bash, and it was primarily made for fun/myself. But anywho, for anyone who might find it useful, I put it in the AUR.

Git repo is here: http://github.com/dannytatom/arc-status

Re: arc-status (rc-status for Arch)

What advantage does it have over ls /var/run/daemons ?

Re: arc-status (rc-status for Arch)

Not much, really. Just colorful and shows what daemons are running in comparison to what daemons aren't. Gentoo's rc-status can filter by boot-level, but (as far as I know?) Arch doesn't have multiple boot levels for daemons, which cuts about 80% of the purpose out. tongue
