Problem with /var partition

Hello everyone. I anstalled Arch Linux 2008.06 x86_64 and durring the installation I created nine partitions ( /boot, /swap, /, /opt, /tmp, /home, /usr and /var ). I mounted it so that the nineth partition is the /var partition/ Now i updated my computer to the newest realease of Arch Linux and when I'am shutting down the system for my eyes appear a information about the /VAR partition. This is the information:
  " Device sda9 (var) is busy - remounted - read only "

What did I do wrong? Must I install the system again or what should I do? Please help me and contact with me. For every kind of help I thank everyone very much. Thank you abd goodbye.
