I tried to send to Judd or Aurelien some patches related to pacman, and seemed to get simply ignored.
What is the good method for sending patches to pacman?

I've seen patches for pacman being sent in a bug report, and some have been included in the oficial pkg.
And where were all the sportsmen who always pulled you though?
They're all resting down in Cornwall

You can email them (as you did) or post them in a bug report. However, if they are feature enhancements that could be the delay. It is up to Judd what, if any, features get added.

just curious, what sort of patches?
for example support for ccache in makepkg

you can also post them in the forums ... as others did ... for example here:
FastBoot: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=8490
so, your patch can be used by the community before Judd finds some time to have a look at it
if you think deeper, you will realize that my suggestion is of course, very egoistic, as i will profit from it as well as the "community", eh? i know, ha ha ha! 8)

makepkg patches could be useful but I doubt that there will be more features added to the current pacman version,
it would be better if the coders finished libpacman and the new pacman version instead,
arch + gentoo + initng + python = enlisy
