Re: Livecd: dwmarch = archlinux + dwm

Why would you include both mpc and ncmpcpp?

I put mpc for sh scripts and hotkey configurations.

Re: Livecd: dwmarch = archlinux + dwm

totoloco, I tried the live CD. dwm comes up with startx. But no luck to launch any application. Mod4(Window)+p key did not work also Alt+Shift+enter key did not bring the terminal window. I may be missing something.

Edit 1: I got it. Nice work totoloco. I will try dwm in one of my system shortly.

And those things are not possible with ncmpcpp? I'm just wondering, it is after all your livecd.

It's a common occurrence to use mpc for one-off bash scripts used by xbindkeys and/or dmenu.  At the same time, ncmpc(pp) provides a nicer gui when more demanding tasks are required.

Nice work, totoloco I haven't checked it out myself, but for a long time I've wanted to do something similar for my own use.
