Hello am new to Arch and just got the repo"s and everything working, Im following th Beginners guide and ive come to the part where i must configure my graphics card. when i ran
lspci | grep VGA
this was my output
nVidia Corperation NV28GL [Quadro 980 XGL [rev al]
I was looking through the list of drivers it has to offer but i dont want to install the wrong one in chance of screwing up my system.
I went to the Nvidia site and found this
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_disp … 43.13.html
It is the driver for the card, im not sure if i need that driver or not. Or if there is a driver on the beginners page list
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beg … mirrorlist
that i could use.
If i do need that driver for the Quadro card, Do i follow the steps on the nvidia page or how should i go about doing that?
Thanks for any help

You can just install the driver in Arch's repos with "pacman -S nvidia". That's the same driver you would get from the Nvidia site, only neatly packaged for Arch.
