Wine Issues and Steam - No 3D support?

Hello

I have tried both Wine and Crossover to run Steam. I installed Steam and it runs what appears to be fine. Starts up without an issue. Runs what seems to be quite well. However, when I start Counter Strike, it says it is launching the game, but the minute it should launch, it crashes. glxgears runs which leads me to believe I have 3D support. What could I be missing?

I have intel drivers installed.

Re: Wine Issues and Steam - No 3D support?

wine will output errors when the application crashes, have you checked those logs?

there is some discussion on wine + counter strike: source going on in the appdb:

Re: Wine Issues and Steam - No 3D support?

I have checked the logs but it doesn't seem like there are any big issues. The same issues I had when running Steam before..

Are there any issues with KDE and desktop effects running while launching Wine games?
