Accessing a shared resource via samba

Hi there!

I'm having a bit of trouble setting up a new printer on my laptop. The printer is connected to a Windows printserver (located on a domain) and I'm accessing it through a lan connection. Using the graphical system-config-printer and GTK2 Samba Client, I'm able to see the printserver but I cannot open the server to view its shares and find the exact printer I need to use. Using the terminal:

smbclient -L hostname

Gives me

Connection to hostname failed (Error NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME)

Also, setting up cups through the web interface and samba as device gives me the BAD_NETWORK_NAME or (it varies, in fact) "cannot connect to CIFS host"

Any suggestions?

Cheers smile
