I have not used tomoyo - but have quite a bit of experience with SELinux. All I will say is that there is a reason the government uses it - probably the most secure addition you can have in Linux. While I do not know what you will be using this laptop for, I have found that I did not find the time I had to put into it worth while. SELinux would yell at me constantly for reasons ranging from Wine to just updating. If you need the security use it. But if you are looking for thrills, I would skip it.

I am looking for a simple MAC as I am going to use my laptop for coding work, net surfing and some online purchasing. I have used selinux on fedora 11 and I agree with you it took me 2 days to figure out how to configure apache with selinux, selinux may be good but very complected.
I want something which is smart but simple like apparmor but apparmor is not there in arch linux repo, is there a alternative.

Is there a MAC which doesn't require recompiling the stock kernel.

apparmor sources are available by the way, you could make a PKGBUILD and add it to the aur:

I have installed tomoyo and it is quite easy to use, all the required packages are in aur. Thanks all of you for the help.
