Thunderbird-i18n package splitted
Hi archers,
I splitted thunderbird-i18n package into many small ones but without an upgrade plain. This means pacman will not advise you of splitted packages but you manually must remove thunderbird-i18n and install your language files package.
Please report any bugs, thank you.

Please don't do this with firefox-i18n package. This becomes a problem when building my livecds since i don't know the language of the user in question. It maybe be a good idea to group them so all can be install more easily.

Yes, create a group or some kind of meta package which depends on everything else. The latter would even provide a clean upgrade path.
BTW: it's called split and not splitted.

I think we should split firefox-i18n too, but this time I will ask JGC first.

I see no point in downloading 20+ language files from FTP and splitting the packages there. You wouldn't have needed split package support to get this job done, and I think the reason why all these packages were combined into one i18n package was because of simplicity... I think firefox-i18n used to have conflicts for the standalone language packs, so we switched from many standalone packages in AUR/community to one official i18n build.

Now we have one official i18n package who provides all languages and we can update all language in one shot. I did this because I won't to see ours repositories and AUR full of thunderbird-$lang or thunderbird-spell-$lang packages who are orphaned, out-of-date, bad. At the same time I won't to install 50MBs for only one language I need. I know ours hard disk are made of GBs but I like a clean system. My point.
