Forum request: Mark topics as read - please move

Why is "Mark all topics as read" placed so close to "Show new posts since your last visit". I often click "Mark all topics as read" by accident, which I find rather annoying.

Could it moved away from "Show new posts ..."?

Anyone else find the "Mark all topics as read" location suboptimal?

I had no problem with the placement so far. But perhaps they could be placed side-by-side instead?
This is, I like them to be close to each other.

To know or not to know ...

Why? If you click "Mark all topics as read" there is no point in clicking "Show yadayada .." for a while.

We do not modify the bbs much at all (apart from some minor styling).  AFAIK, that is the default upstream...

Anyway, search and you will see the response last time this was asked was not what you want tongue

Alright! smile

I can see that this has been discussed many times before. I'll just bookmark the "show new topics ..." result page instead then.

If you are using Firefox and have the Stylish add-on, you can create an override to move this link to the bottom of the page.
