$arch in /etc/pacman.conf

Is there a $arch variable or similar in /etc/pacman.conf?

I think there should be because that would simplify adding repos, so for adding the arch-games repo you could just do:

[arch-games]
Server = http://arch.twilightlair.net/games/$arch/
Server = http://pseudoform.org/arch-games/games/$arch/
Server = http://repo.exigen.org/arch/games/$arch/

Like they do with $repo.

Nice idea and already implemented in pacman git:

Nice, now we just have to wait for repo managers to add it.

Not so fast, first pacman 3.4 hast to be released, which probably won't happen in the immediate future.
