Configuring KDE right click

the menu appearing when right-clicking a file is what I think is called the "desktop menu".

On SimplyMEPIS, that menu includes a cascading menu going like that:
copy to > home >
________Documents >
________---------------
________[some recently used folders]>

and if I move the focus to home then the folders in home appear and so on....

and the same with: move to >

I don't have the same feature on my arch 0.7 - KDE 3.3
How can I add it ?

Re: Configuring KDE right click

i think that worked in kde 3.3.
sorry i'm running now 3.4 beta so i can't test it but this was there as far as i can remember and in 3.4 it is also there.
perhaps you didn't have installed all kde packages or if yes try to deinstall kde and then reinstall it.

Re: Configuring KDE right click

I had looked in KControl, and though you can define your own menus, you can only put applications into them, and the desktop menu is not editable.

Anyway, I re-installed KDE, and now I have everything. Thanks  big_smile
