Sending emails from hylafax - mail issues [Solved]

I've had an intranet version of hylafax and postfix working for a couple years, but am now needing to set up a different system and cannot get my brain around what I need to do.

My hylafax server is listening to a modem on Network A.  The tech support guys for this network are MIA, so getting any information about the network is nearly impossible.  I do have an IP address and can browse the net.  I will never need to receive email on the machine on Network A.

My office is on Network B.  We are using the IP provider's email system, and receive mail using Thunderbird.  This is primarily a windows network.  N

I need to be able to send emails from the machine on Network A over the net to be received at my office on Network B.  I can get hylafax set up, but am not sure what I need to do to get the email system running.

Any assistance in getting me on the right path is appreciated.

Hi.

This is not Hylafax configuration, but mail server configuration, and the solution depends on what mail server are you using, postfix, qmail, etc.

If you are using postfix, look at the transport file (/etc/postfix/transport) there you can specifya different mail routings per domain

Thanks.  Not sure why I couldn't figure that out.  Got postfix working for the new setup; there is a sample send only main.cf configuration on the postfix site that gives me the minimal functionality I need.
