Hi. I just reinstaled and now i cant access my usb pendrives.
They used to mount on /media/disk.
Now,i cant access them from the terminal and when i try to access from pcmanfm i get the next messges:
org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount. removable no <--(Action, result)
I Get that one two times and then one saying ''Directory doesnt exist".
I cant access by any of my usb ports, and it hangs when i try to access from the one in the right side of my laptop.
What can i do?
As i remember, in my last instalation i instaled nothing but pcmanfm and fam to access them...

Try gamin instead of fam. (pacman -S gamin ) it will remove fam, remove-it also from daemons in rc.conf.
If it tells you directory doesnt exist is because the /media/disk doesn't exist... Create it first.
mkdir /media
mkdir /media/disk
try mount /dev/(sdx) /media/disk to see if it works.
pcmanfm works out of the box with gamin

Using Gamin i still cant access my pendrive. Even if ii make those directories.
Mounting in that way returns me "number expected".
Thanks and greetings.

Perhaps posting the error message(s) will aid in troubleshooting?

also check and see if dmesg|tail gives any useful output.

Check out the HAL wiki.
You have to modify your PolicyKit.conf in /etc/PolicyKit/
