Repo error from mirror

failed downloading /current/os/i686/shadow-4.0.7-1.pkg.tar.gz from archlinux.antesis.org: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden

Dunno where the proper place to post this one is..

If a moderator knows, by all means, move it to the proper location..

anyway..just recieved this error on a pacman -Syu. Not sure if it is repeatable, or due to my setup. Just a heads up to the mirror admin if they happen to read the forums...

Looks like it hasn't shown up yet on the ftp but the db file has been updated.

Personally, I would upload the new first, updated the db, remove the old.

Could be that someone lost conncetivity in the middle of the update and you are catching it before they get a chance to finish.

Anything can happen when you fling bits from here to there - lol.

most likely.

The package got pulled in from the next repo on this list, so it really didn't effect me too much. Just posted notification in case it was not a simple problem like you mentioned. Who knows..maybe the file was uploaded and chmod'ed without read permissions..
lol..

I know I have accidentally done silly things like that before..
