I am looking to get a working package of Webmin for arch, (Any help on some config files would be nice).
I have looked at the source tar.gz, and this seems to be based on a horrible to fix setup.sh, but then then I had a look at the RPM. The problem with that is that you have to use rpmunpack then cpio the file.
Having looked at a working installation, the easiest way is to ignore the install script, and write one taylored to Arch, which will just copy stuff to Arch like directory structures.
I am still trying to work out how webmin on Suse uses my root password as the first user, with the ability to add more users. What is needed is to get the source, ignore the install, (Out of interest perl-net-ssleay is the major problem dependency) and move files about to the right places.
Kind regards

That's news to me. If you could track that down I would appreciate it.
As far as I knew it can be used on linux without problems, but I may be wrong. I have written to te author and discussed an Arch version without an issue.
Caldera, aka suing Linux were involved, but I do not know if that causes a problem.

Well not with respect to using it but distributing it?
(remember distributing does not require the exchange of money for product)
I may be thinking of some other restricted license admin tool though.
