Hello,
Maybe a stupid question, i switched from ubuntu to arch. In ubuntu you needed dwm-tools for the workspaces selector, what do I need in arch to display the workspaces?

I installed it, but the bar with the workspace names doesn't show up...

Ahh, I think I misread your question. You probably want to install either dzen2 or xmobar, depending on which one you use.

I Also use xmobar, how can I display the numbers of the workplaces?

You need to run some sort of bar, dzen2/ xmobar is the most popular ones, and then you have to configure xmonad so that it prints the info to the bar. There are several ways to do this. The easiest is to spawn the bar in xmonad.hs and then set the output of the PP to write to that handler.
There is a lot of docuemtation on this, including for DynamicLog which you will be using to print the info.
Edit: You can look at my config (found in my signature) for one example of how to do it.

Are you using your own xmonad.hs? Is it in ~/.xmonad/ ?
