Macbook Triple Boot

I read that some of you managed to pull off successfully tri-booting Mac, XP, and Linux on my MAcbook 4.1 Unibody. Every time I tried, Windows would fail with hal.dll missing error. What I have garnered is that I need to set up the partitions as such

1.EFI
2.MAC hfs+
3.Windows
4. Arch ext4
To share I'll need the same uuid as my Mac account, correct?
Has anything recent enabled reading and writing hfs+?
I assume WINE and PLAYONLINUX are available in the repositories?

I shouldn't install a swap partition because that would put me over the 4 required partitions for MBR. Refit is also needed to synchronize GPT and MBR partition tables. I had Fedora working, and I had bluetooth, sound(headphones and speakers) Broadcom Wireless and Nvidia 3d Graphics functioning. However, brightness keys or commands never worked, do they in Arch? Am I to assume its the same here.

Thanks for any help or confirmation. Arch looks like an interesting project, and I look forward to testing it out if nothing conflicts. Thanks Again
